Whole Kids win Australian Organic Business of the Year Award!

Whole Kids are thrilled to announce that we have taken out the top spot at this years Australian Organic 5th annual Awards for Excellence Evening.

The awards were hosted in Canberra last night at Pialligo Estate Glasshouse by leading not-for-profit industry group Australian Organic, celebrating the outstanding and innovative contributions members of the nation’s organic industry have made over the past year, showcasing leading products, businesses and individuals.

Other successful producers who were honoured amongst the 16 categories included Whole Kids Balwyn stockist, Apples and Sage Organic Wholefoods who were awarded Retailer of the Year.

This year’s judges said entrants exceeded expectations, commenting, “With so many innovative new products, successful business stories and extraordinary individuals, this year’s finalists are a true credit to our industry which has quickly become one of the most dynamic markets in Australia.”

Whole Kids Founders, husband and wife team, James and Monica Meldrum (pictured) were there to collect the award from Chairman Andrew Monk. The team were overwhelmed to scoop the coveted award.

“We are thrilled to be recognised for this honour amongst our peers within the organic Industry,” says Monica Meldrum. “We’re proud to be part of a growing industry that’s committed to delivering quality products that contribute directly to the health of our customers and the long term sustainability of our environment. “

We are really proud of everything Whole Kids is achieving and want to thank our lovely customers for your ongoing support, without which we couldn’t achieve all the things we are doing.

Australian Organic is the leading industry peak body responsible for ensuring organic standards in Australia. Australian Organic established an organic certification scheme to independently verify that farmers and processors were producing in accord with those standards and also introduced the highly recognisable Bud logo. This symbol ensures the integrity of organic products in the marketplace for consumers.

This year Australian Organic received a huge amount of high-quality entries for this year’s awards. The full list of winners are available at: https://austorganic.com/
