The Environmental Working Group (EWG) in the US has produced a handy shopper's guide to produce that usually have the most pesticide levels and should be sourced organic.

Peaches turned up the worst scoring 100 on a scaled comparison of 47 fruits and veggies. They were followed closely by apples which scored a 93.

Based on US agricultural datas, EWG developed the Guide based on data from nearly 87,000 tests for pesticide residues in produce conducted between 2000 and 2007 and collected by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
